Lecture description and attendance of representatives from Union Nikola Tesla University.

Japanese architect Riken Yamamoto, the 2024 recipient of the prestigious Pritzker Prize for Lifetime Achievement in the field of architecture, was a guest lecturer as part of the Kaleidoscope Cultural Program, which is held annually in Novi Sad. This year, representatives from Union Nikola Tesla University, Faculty of Construction Management: Architecture and Urbanism, attended this significant cultural event in architecture, including: Professor Dr. Tatjana Košić, Full Professor; Professor Dr. Dragana Vasilski, Full Professor; Assistant Professor Dr. Jelena Mitrović; Assistant Professor Dr. Bojan Končarević; and Professor Dr. Marina Bugarčić, Full Professor. The presence of the Union University delegation was in synergy with the arrival of a large number of students from the university, whose attendance was specially supported by the event organizers. The international award, given annually to a professionally active architect for significant and unequivocal civilizational impact through their realized projects, was established by the Pritzker family of Chicago and their Hyatt Foundation in 1979. The award is considered the unofficial "Nobel Prize for architecture," and thus the highest professional achievement. The lecture was preceded by a film presentation about the values upheld by the Hyatt Foundation, the selection process for the award, previous laureates, their messages to this year's winner, the award ceremony itself, and the speech delivered by the honorary laureate, architect Riken Yamamoto.
