VISIT TO THE EMBASSY OF THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC

Students of the Faculty of International Politics and Security visited the Slovak Embassy in Belgrade on December 17, 2024, accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Violeta Rašković Talović. They were warmly welcomed by the Ambassador of Slovakia, H.E. Mr. Michal Pavúk, and the embassy staff. The visit was organized to familiarize students with Slovakia's policies and explore opportunities for academic and professional cooperation between Serbia and Slovakia. Ambassador Michal Pavúk inaugurated the visit by welcoming the students and emphasizing the importance of bilateral relations between Slovakia and Serbia. He provided the students with a comprehensive overview of Slovakia's role in the European Union, its foreign policy priorities, and opportunities for educational exchanges. He particularly highlighted scholarship programs and scientific collaboration, encouraging the students to explore study options in Slovakia. The students had a unique opportunity to ask questions about the ambassador's duties, his role, Slovakia's policies, relations with neighboring countries, and opportunities for international cooperation in various fields. Following the lecture, the ambassador initiated a discussion with the students. They raised questions about cultural exchanges, educational opportunities, and joint projects between Serbia and Slovakia. The ambassador especially praised the students' interest and encouraged them to consider how they could contribute to strengthening ties between the two countries through education and professional activities. The visit to the Slovak Embassy provided the students with valuable insights and an opportunity for direct interaction with representatives of Slovakia. Ambassador H.E. Michal Pavúk expressed the embassy's willingness to support further collaboration with the Faculty of International Politics and Security and its students, underscoring the significance of international relations and education in preparing for global challenges.
