International workshop of the City Center for Social Entrepreneurship of Belgrade
The City Center for Social Entrepreneurship of Belgrade, together with its partner the Western Balkan Institute, organized an international workshop where 12 renowned universities from Europe participated. The topic of the workshop is "Employment of young and vulnerable categories".
The workshop was opened by the Secretary for Social Protection of the City of Belgrade, Aleksandra Čamagić. The director of the City Center for Social Entrepreneurship of Belgrade, Miodrag Pešić, welcomed and continued cooperation with the participants of the workshop and their institutions. Marko Stojanović, head of the project training academy of the Western Balkan Institute from Belgrade, also addressed the attendees.
The opening of the workshop was attended by City Council member Prof. Ph.D. Nebojša Petrović, Dean of the University of Union Nikola Tesla Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Gračanac and MSc. mei Vladimir Djokic.
Based on the experiences of their countries, the participants of the workshop discussed ways to improve the position of young people and students from disadvantaged social groups and opportunities to provide support to young people when it comes to accessing the labor market.
