Public Utility Company "Belgrade Metro and Train" on collaboration with Union University Nikola Tesla
The expert team from the Public Utility Company "Belgrade Metro and Train," led by director Andrej Mladenović, met with the leadership of Union University Nikola Tesla, including Rector Prof. Dr. Novica Staletović and the Dean of the Faculty of Construction Management at this university, Prof. Dr. Suzana Koprivica.
The meeting was dedicated to exploring opportunities for developing joint activities and discussing the agreement on collaboration. In the previous period, the company renewed and signed new collaboration agreements to ensure active participation of students and faculty members in the Belgrade metro construction project with the Faculties of Mining and Geology, Architecture, Transport, Mechanical Engineering, Law, Electrical Engineering, Organizational Sciences, and Applied Arts. Union Nikola Tesla will be the first private faculty to join this initiative.
The primary purpose of the Agreement is to increase the involvement and engagement of the academic community, domestic experts, and local knowledge in this nationally significant project, which will significantly contribute to improving public transport and mobility in the Serbian capital, as well as to the broader socio-economic and technological development of the entire society. It was agreed that the signing of this document and the presentation of the Belgrade metro construction project at Union Nikola Tesla will take place at the beginning of the new academic year 2024/25, during October this year.
