Assistant Professor Bojan Končarević, Ph.D., will hold a lecture on March 14, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the amphitheater of the Union Nikola Tesla University.

Lecture topic: A FEW DISCUSSIONS ON IDEA SHAPING.

Brief biography: Bojan Končarević, architect, born in Sarajevo in 1984, enrolled in 2003 and graduated in the studio class of professor Branislav Mitrović in 2008 as the best student at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade.
After a one-year specialist stay as a recipient of the Ito Foundation Scholarship in the former Tadao Ando (Pritzker Prize winner) Laboratory of Professor Manabu Chiba, in 2009 he enrolled in doctoral studies in the world-famous materials laboratory at the chair of one of the world's leading architects, Professor Kengo Kuma, at the Faculty of Architecture University of Tokyo. Bojan's mentor, Professor Kengo Kuma, studied in the USA, today his project bureau with over 150 architects has headquarters in Tokyo and Paris. Bojan completed his doctoral studies at Kuma Lab, known and recognized for its methodological approach in the study of architecture, where he obtained the title of Doctor of Science in 2015. He transfers his acquired study and work experience through active design and academic projects in Belgrade. As part of his independent practice, from 2015 to 2018, he was actively involved in the design and construction of the buildings of the APoint architectural office based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Since 2024, he has been leading teaching activities as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Construction Management, Department of Architecture and Urbanism, Union Nikola Tesla University in Belgrade.
