As part of the DEEP GREEN INNO project activities at the University "Union Nikola Tesla" 09/25/2023. the first workshop called DeepGreen Environmental Technologies was held with the participation of lecturers from among our partners from the DeepGreen Environmental Technologies project, professors from UUNT, and guest academic and non-academic lecturers.

A very important guest of the workshop was the Deputy Mayor of Stari Grad, Mr. Aleksandar Puača, who supported the workshop with the topic of DeepGreen Environmental Technologies with his speech. The guests of UUNT were partners from Italy, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska, who presented their latest results in the field of green materials, both synthesis and application, as well as connecting innovative materials with entrepreneurship in order to develop new start-up companies and their functioning. During the workshop in front of UUNT, professor Vesna Mišković Stanković also presented her scientific results from biomaterials. The guest of the workshop was also the representative of EIT HEI for the Balkans, Mr. Adrian Solomon, who informed the participants of the workshop about the goals and possibilities for the future application to calls for projects of this foundation. As part of the second day of the workshop on September 26, 2023. participants visited the Belgrade Science and Technology Park as a great example of promoting science and technology through entrepreneurship. As part of the visit and tour of NTP Belgrade, the project team had the opportunity to get to know NTP activities as well as to see exceptional modern laboratories with great presentations. It was particularly interesting to hear about the exchange of research results and experiences with technology parks other than Serbian ones (Niš, Kragujevac, Čačak) as well as with NTPs from Slovenia and Switzerland. The members of the DEEP GREEN INNO project team gained a very broad insight into an institution of this type. Photography:
